Job description

CGC Recruitment are working with an existing client to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join the business on a full time basis. This specialist contractor have a unique position in the market with a secure order book of projects in QLD for the next 2 years. They deliver end-to-end civil contracting services to support building & infrastructure works across urban and industrial landscapes and have an unrivaled expertise in all aspects of commercial and bulk excavation, demolition & complex earthworks. 
 
Due to project wins in the South East and QLD Regions they have identified a critical need for a Project Manager to lead the delivery of a landmark local project. As Project Manager you will have full project responsibility which will include development and control of budgets, reporting of project progress, technical and delivery strategies, risk, project schedules, deliverables, commercial and procurement arrangements. 
 
We are looking to speak to driven Project Managers who who are team leaders, are contractually very switched on and have the capacity to make key decisions which will effect critical project outcomes. To be considered for this role you must possesses the following:
 
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- At least 8 years civil or building construction experience 
- Prior experience working for a Tier 2 or Tier 3 Civil Contractor self performing works 
- Ability to lead a team but also report up into a Operations Director 
- Project delivery experience on building or de-construction projects 
- Prior experience delivering  projects demolition or building sectors would be an advantage 
- Must be an Australian permanent resident
