Contract Project Manager – Education Project 5-Month Contract | ASAP Start | South NSW or Canberra
We are a small, well-established building contractor delivering high-quality projects across NSW and the ACT. Due to an upcoming education project, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join us on a contract basis for an immediate start, with a view to extension.
About the Role You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of an education project valued up to $10m, working closely with site teams, consultants, and the client to ensure successful outcomes across programme, cost, quality, and safety.
The role can be:

Site-based in South NSW, or
Based from our Head Office in Canberra, with site visits as required.

Key Responsibilities

Manage delivery of education sector projects from commencement through to completion
Administer GC21 contracts, including progress claims, variations, EOTs, and reporting
Oversee program, cost control, risk management, and subcontractor performance
Coordinate consultants, authorities, and stakeholders
Ensure WHS, quality, and compliance requirements are met
Use Procore to manage project documentation and workflows

About You

Proven Project Manager experience on education projects
Strong working knowledge of GC21 contracts
Experience delivering projects up to $10 million
Hands-on experience using Procore
Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced contractor environment
