Our client is a national property developer with a substantial and secure pipeline of work across Australia. This developer operates at scale and partners with some of Australia’s largest and most recognisable retail brands, delivering high-quality new build and fit-out projects nationwide.
They are seeking a hands-on Project Manager to represent the developer directly and take ownership of retail construction projects across New South Wales.
The Role
Reporting client-side, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of numerous new build and fit-out retail developments, acting as the developer’s on-the-ground representative. The role will be split between a Sydney-based office and active construction sites, with regular travel across NSW.

You will be
- Managing projects from design through to construction and handover
- Acting as the primary point of contact between consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
- Overseeing program, cost, quality, and safety outcomes
- Managing consultants and builders to ensure timely and compliant delivery
- Hands-on site involvement to resolve issues and drive outcomes
- Representing the developer’s interests at all times
About You
- A background in building, architecture, or engineering, with a bachelor’s degree being highly desirable
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience delivering construction projects in a Project Manager role
- Strong knowledge of construction methodology, sequencing, and site delivery
- Experience working on retail, commercial, or fit-out projects
- The confidence to manage builders and consultants directly
- A proactive, practical, and delivery-focused mindset
- Willingness to travel across NSW as required
