You'll manage timelines, budgets, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure every project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard of quality. Working closely with site supervisors, trades, and senior management, you'll play a key role in maintaining the company's strong reputation for excellence in commercial fitouts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all project phases from procurement and scheduling through to handover and client sign-off.
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets, cost forecasts, and progress reports.
  • Ensure compliance with WHS, quality, and environmental standards across all sites.
Stakeholder & Client Management
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Conduct regular project meetings and ensure clear communication between all parties.
  • Build long-term relationships through proactive problem-solving and consistent delivery.
Site Coordination & Team Leadership
  • Coordinate site supervisors, subcontractors, and internal teams to achieve milestones and deadlines.
  • Oversee subcontractor performance, safety compliance, and quality control.
  • Provide clear leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior staff and site teams.
Procurement & Contracts
  • Manage tenders, subcontractor engagement, and supplier relationships.
  • Review and negotiate contracts in line with project scope and budget parameters.
  • Approve variations and progress claims in conjunction with the senior management team.

Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
  • 5+ years' experience in project management within the commercial fitout or interior construction sector.
  • Proven ability to deliver multiple projects simultaneously, on time and within budget.
  • Strong technical understanding of fitout systems - partitions, ceilings, joinery, cladding, and finishes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g. Procore, MS Project, or similar).
  • Trade or tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Building, or related discipline.
  • Sound knowledge of NSW building codes, WHS regulations, and quality standards.
  • Current White Card and driver's licence.

Why You'll Want This Role
  • Work on diverse, high-profile projects across commercial, education, healthcare, and government sectors.
  • Competitive salary package - $130K-$160K + Super (DOE).
  • Supportive management team and stable, long-term pipeline of work.
  • Genuine career growth opportunities within an established, reputable business.
  • Strong company culture built around teamwork, craftsmanship, and delivering excellence.
