The Company
  
You will be joining a medium size construction firm that has been operating in the Sydney market for over 25 years, have a good name amongst peers and work with subbies to create a harmonious environment for the site team. Projects are valved from $3M - $20M and incorporate both new build, heavy refurbishment and straight fit out
  
The senior leadership team have been with the company many years and provide a solid foundation for employees career development and progression.

You will be joining a close-knit team of professionals that are headed up by a Construction Manager that has been with the business for over 10 years. The company has a flat structure, the management have an open-door policy and the staff turnover is low. The team have all been working together a long time and pride themselves on the culture that has been cultivated in that time.
  
The Position
  
Reporting into the Construction Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of approx. $10M worth of projects p/a. Using your strong stakeholder and project management skills you will leading and coordinating all participants on the project, ensuring expectations are understood and agreed, program designed, developed and closely monitored, key milestones delivered and performance/ financial targets achieved.
  
Concurrently you will run 1-2 projects in construction and one at tender stages.
  
Salary will be in line with experience and market conditions, however figures of $230K - $250K can be expected.
  
Qualifications  / Experience
  • Construction Management or relevant construction related degree
  • Experience working in the upper tier 3 or tier 2 market
  • Exposure to working on projects at preconstruction phase, including writing methodology for tenders
  • Strong programming and financial management skills
  • Experience working across D & C projects
  • Knowledge of Hospitality and huge advantage
  • Have local experience and sub-contractor relationships
