Our client is one of Australia’s largest privately-owned construction companies who turn over in excess of $900M and have a combined workforce of over 400 people that deliver works within federal, state and local governments as well as private institutions and blue-chip corporates.  
 
With a strong portfolio that includes educational, health and leisure projects this builder is still projecting a strong pipeline for the first quarter of the 20/21 FY  
 
The Position  
 
We are assisting with the recruitment of a Project Manager with Aquatic Centre experience. This is a strategic hire to facilitate shovel ready projects that are currently at tenders stages, due to start later in the year. 
  
Reporting into the Construction Manager and NSW State Manager you will use your strong stakeholder and project management skills leading and coordinating of all participants across the bid and project delivery stages, ensuring expectations are understood and agreed, program and design developed and closely monitored, key milestones met and delivered whilst performance and financial targets are achieved.
  
Salary will be depend on what experience you can bring but figures in the vicinity of $250K will be on offer.

Key Skills / Desirable Background
  • Tertiary qualifications relating to construction (civil/structural or construction management) 
  • Experience delivering Aquatic or Leisure Centre projects 
  • A strong eye for buildability issues, budget control and effective leadership in a delivery environment within the tier one or two market.
