Job description

Our client has a long history of delivering Transport Infrastructure Projects under a variety of contracting models. Services include the design and construction of light rail, heavy rail, signalling, track and station works, rail safety technology, bridges and roads.
 
Due to recent project wins, the business are now looking for Site Engineers, Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineers to carry out works included but not limited to;
  • Duplicating around eight kilometres of track 
  • Rebuilding stations featuring new station buildings and forecourts, second platforms and accessible pedestrian overpasses
  • Removal of the level crossings and replaced with elevated rail bridges
  • Signalling upgrades 
Responsibilities Include
  • Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure the project is delivered in accordance with time, budget and quality requirements.
  • Prepare project plans which include safety, quality and environmental considerations.
  • Investigate and support general engineering technical issues whilst identifying project risks and opportunities.
  • Assist with budget development, project forecasting and achieving financial targets.
  • Identification of plant, labour, material and subcontract resources.
  • Manage and lead personnel and prioritise work efficiently.
About You
  • Minimum degree qualification in Engineering.
  • Demonstrated project experience, construction experience preferred.
  • Problem solving ability for best project outcomes.
  • Understanding scope & design requirements.
  • Developing strong work relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Maintaining a Zero Harm safety culture.
The positions offer some working from home flexibility.
