CGC Recruitment are established experts in providing short term construction and engineering resources to main tier and mid-tier contractors and have been approached by one of our clients to source a Project Engineer to work as a back to back on a recently awarded project in the Central QLD Coal Fields. 
 
Reporting to the Project Manger you will working back to back with an internal Engineer and you will be responsible for duties such as preparing, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects. In addition to this you will perform quality control (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status. Scope of works include, detailed earthworks, top soiling, concrete repairs, minor civil works. 
 
The role is working on a mining projects in a remote environment so applicants need to be accustomed to safety and quality specifications to mining standards. As the work is remote applicants will need to posses experience of delivering projects in this type of setting as is far removed from city based infrastructure.
