Job description

This small size Civil Subcontractor Contractor focus on the delivery of Civil Infrastructures project in the mining space delivering scopes such as Bulk Earthworks and Concrete Structures. They have a proven reputation of delivering projects to quality, time and budget and have an existing client base in the Central QLD mining space.

They have recently been awarded a number of small scale subcontract packages for one of their major clients and as of such are in urgent need of some short term site based engineering support to help them through a busy period. Reporting to the Senior Engineer on site you will be responsible for developing ITPs, putting schedules together and responsible for all on site QA. Scope of works includes bulk earthworks, cut & fill and culverts.

The role is an immediate requirement and as of the nature and location of the work it is preferred that Engineers possess a valid Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 to enable them to start immediately on site. The roster will be a 5/2 FIFO roster Mon-Friday with flights and accommodation being provided by the client.

Selection Criteria: 

- 3-5 years Civil Construction experience
- Civil Engineering Degree
- Experience in road construction/rehabilitation projects  
- Current Coal Board Medical & S11 is preferable
