About the company
State wide government agency looking after civil infrastructure projects and assets in the Hunter and Northern regions of NSW.
About the role
Working in the structures maintenance division you will be tasked as working as a project engineer working on the development side of projects.
There will be multiple projects you need to get up to speed to the point of handing over to the delivery and maintenance teams and crews.
This is an initial temp/contract role for 3-6 months with the view of extension.
The position will be office based in Newcastle with the flexible WFH arrangement.
Projects will be across the Hunter and Northern NSW area and any site visits will have expenses paid.
Example projects include;
Skills & experience
Experience working on TfNSW/RMS projects is an advantage though other state authority or local council infrastructure experience is accepted.
Ideally you will be able to self-deliver in the following areas;

- Re-painting
- Barrier replacements
- On-ramps

- QA, ITP's, SWMS
- Environmental
- OH&S
- Civil engineering / Structural degree
- Locally based work
- Strong experienced project teams
- Reasonable working hours
