CGC Recruitment are established experts in providing short term construction and engineering resources to main tier and mid-tier contractors across Australia. We are currently working with a number of established clients who are actively recruiting Engineers at all levels to provide short term site-based Engineering support during critical periods of construction.
 
One of our key National clients have identified an immediate short-term need for an initial 8-week period, to cover for a full-time staff on an existing $60ml Project situated North of Brisbane. 
 
As Project Engineer you will report to the on-site Project Manager and responsibility will include: prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects. In addition to this you will perform quality control (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status. Scope of works involves; Road Widening, Excavations, Pitt & Pipe Works, Geotech Investigations and Steel Structures.
 
It is an immediate start for an initial 8 week period and will be suited to an Engineer who is in between contracts and is looking for a short-term opportunity. Or if someone is looking to get a foot in the door with a Tier 2 Contractor on an iconic Infrastructure project, now is the time as the scope to continued work is very strong! 
 
Selection Criteria: 
 
- Civil Engineering Degree
- 5 Years Post Graduate Experience
- Must have Road Construction experience  
- Team player and able to make key decisions 
- Tier 1 or Tier 2 Contracting experience is essential
