The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a reputable main contractor builder delivering a $20M new build project in Western Sydney. This is an initial 2-month contract role with a strong view to extend, offering an immediate start for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate site engineering activities across the project lifecycle
• Oversee and support earthworks and civil packages
• Assist in planning, programming, and sequencing of works
• Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements
• Monitor progress, track costs, and report on project performance
• Support procurement and contract administration functions

About You

• Proven experience as a Project Engineer on new build construction projects
• Strong background in earthworks and early-stage construction
• Experience working with a main contractor / builder environment
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive project outcomes
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Relevant engineering or construction-related qualification
