We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to join an established site team for the close-out phase of a major infrastructure project. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-profile build while gaining valuable experience with a Tier 1 contractor.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day project engineering activities on site
- Coordinate mechanical works to ensure timely and compliant project close-out
- Support commissioning, defect resolution, and handover processes
- Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
- Monitor progress, quality, and safety outcomes
- Assist with documentation, reporting, and final project deliverables
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering
- 3-6 years' experience in construction project engineering roles
- Experience on commercial building and/or major infrastructure or tunnelling projects preferred
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work effectively within an established site team in a fast-paced environment
- Competitive day rate (PAYG or Pty Ltd options available)
- Opportunity to work on a landmark infrastructure project
- Exposure to a Tier 1 contractor environment
