Project Engineer - Major Marine Infrastructure Project (Fixed Term Contract)
Salary: $130k-$170k + Super + LAFA
Location: Regional Victoria | Landmark marine upgrade
 
Join a Tier 2 contractor delivering one of Victoria's most significant marine infrastructure projects. This is a key site-based Project Engineer role supporting delivery of complex marine and heavy civil works, including piling, structural steel, heavy concrete, and major civil packages on a $100m+ project.
You'll work closely with the Construction Manager and site team, taking ownership of engineering, planning, and coordination to ensure safe, high-quality, and on-time delivery.

The Role
  • Support delivery of marine and heavy civil construction works
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site activities
  • Manage technical queries, RFIs, ITPs, and QA documentation
  • Assist with short-term planning, sequencing, and progress tracking
  • Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, and project requirements
  • Contribute to cost control, forecasting, and reporting
  • Interface with site supervision, consultants, and client representatives
About You
  • Proven experience as a Project Engineer on major civil or marine projects
  • Background with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 head contractor preferred
  • Exposure to piling, marine works, structural steel, concrete, or heavy civil scopes
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies and site delivery
  • Full Australian working rights
