Civil contractor who is multi-divisional operating the roads and bridges maintenance space.

About the role

Sydney management organisation in the roads and structures space require a project engineer to work in the Inner West, East and South West Suburbs of Sydney.

You will be overseeing delivery contractors working on projects ranging from intersection upgrades, traffic signals, retaining walls and road widening.
These projects are mainly GC21 contracts and you will be tasked with;

• QA/QC
• Safety inspections
• NCR resolution
• Site reporting
• Variation assessments

An example project would be widening a road to put in a new left hand turn into an intersection with utility upgrade and traffic signals.
 
This will be a long term contract opportunity paid on a daily rate.

Skills & experience 

 
Experience working on RMS projects is essential and GC21 contract experience is also desired.  
You must have;

• Australian working rights 
• Roadworks, pavements, concrete, utilities experience 
• 3-5 years plus industry experience 
• Civil engineering degree
