Project Engineer - Civil, Remediation and Environmental
  
CGC Recruitment are in partnership with Australia’s leading environmentally focussed main contractor who specialise in civil, remediation and environmental projects in the defence, mining and resources sectors. Typical projects are valued in the region of $10m - $100m and involve civil construction elements such as bulk / detailed earthworks, piling, excavation, civil infrastructure, soil remediation etc.
  
They are actively seeking a Project Engineer to work on a large earthworks project in Port Hedland and are keen to speak to Project Engineers with experience working on similar projects with BHP experience. This is a site-based opportunity working on a 10:4 FIFO roster with 20% site uplift.

While supporting the successful delivery of civil and remediation projects throughout WA, this integral role will manage the day-to-day delivery of projects while maintaining strong relationships and ensuring company safety, quality and financial targets are achieved. 
  
Candidate Criteria:
 
  • A degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • 5+ years construction experience specialising in the management of civil, remediation or environmental projects.
  • Contract and budget management experience.
  • Experience working for a main contractor within civil construction (earthworks and excavation).
  • BHP experience (desirable).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office & Project.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills with the ability to develop relationships with team members, clients and contractors to ensure excellence in project delivery.
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
  • Ability to work on a 10:4 FIFO roster.
  • Valid driver's license.
