Our client is an established project management consultancy delivering premium outcomes for urban development, infrastructure, and open space projects across NSW. Their clients include Tier 1 developers, government agencies, and private sector stakeholders on some of the state's most recognised master-planned communities and estates.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Project Director to lead the full lifecycle delivery of major residential land developments. This role offers the opportunity to manage the planning, design, approvals, and delivery stages, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and overseeing key project deliverables.

Position Overview
We are seeking a Project Director to lead the full lifecycle delivery of major residential land developments. This role offers the opportunity to manage the planning, design, approvals, and delivery stages, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and overseeing key project deliverables.
Responsibilities include:
- Management of project planning, design, authority approvals, infrastructure delivery, and land registration.
- Leadership of internal teams (4) and external consultants.
- Client and authority liaison, stakeholder engagement, and risk management.
- Financial oversight, including client budgets, forecasting, reporting, and contract administration (AS4000 or equivalent).
- Program development and monitoring using project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project).
- Technical review across disciplines such as urban design, engineering, transport, utilities, and town planning.
- Civil land development and subdivisions
- Civil infrastructure and utilities
- Public domain and open space projects
- Architectural and built form works
- Capital works programs
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in the engineering, development, or construction industries.
- Strong understanding of NSW planning approvals and utility servicing processes.
- Proven capability in project leadership, financial management, and contract administration.
- Degree qualifications in Engineering, Planning, Architecture, Construction Management or similar.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and team leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
