Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Principal Electrical Engineer to join a reputable Tier 2 Building Services Consultancy based in Sydney. As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will lead the electrical design and engineering team, providing technical expertise and guidance on a range of projects across various sectors including commercial, residential, and Education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the electrical engineering team, ensuring high-quality project delivery within budget and schedule constraints.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on electrical design concepts, strategies, and solutions.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, understanding their needs and requirements to deliver tailored electrical engineering solutions.
• Review and approve electrical designs, calculations, and drawings to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and stakeholders to deliver integrated and sustainable building services solutions.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers, providing guidance and support to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.

  
Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in building services engineering, with a focus on electrical design.
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or working towards it.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and building services design principles.
• Experience leading and managing a team of engineers and technical staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and ETAP.
