Assistant Project Manager required for a Commercial Fit Out Contractor  
 
The Client:
 
Our client has a brilliant opportunity for an Assistant PM to join the business. A design & construct (D&C) contractor with a heavy focus on preconstruction. At the start of your journey, you’ll have an opportunity to join the preconstruction team to fully learn how the business operates and have an input into how to plan, design and deliver multiple sites.
 
Predominately a commercial fit out contractor with some new build construction. A forward-thinking business with great leadership. Will ideally suit a CA looking for a step up or a junior PM.
 
Salary circa $90 – 110k
 
The Role:
  • Support the preconstruction process from initial concept through to project handover
  • Coordinate with designers, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Managing budgets, schedules, and resources efficiently
  • Develop scope of works for trade packages
  • Ensuring all preconstruction activities align with company standards and client expectations
  • Oversee preconstruction processes
  • Develop construction schedule
What you'll need to be successful in the role:  
  • Ideally 3/4 yrs as a minimum in a CA or Junior PM role with a fit out contractor
  • Be able to show stability on your CV 
  • Be passionate about creating innovative and functional office spaces
  • A go-getter who enjoys managing multiple projects
  • Understanding and interest in design, planning and preconstruction
