Planner - Short Term Contract
Major Water Infrastructure Project | 5/2 DIDO | QLD
We are currently seeking an experienced Planner to support a major Water Infrastructure Project located approximately 2 hours north of Brisbane on a 5/2 DIDO roster.
This is an initial 4-6 week contract opportunity with strong potential for extension and the possibility of progressing into a full-time position.
The Project
This is a complex water infrastructure development involving large-scale pipelines, pump stations and reservoirs, delivered by a National Tier 1 contractor. The project presents a technically challenging environment requiring strong planning capability and stakeholder collaboration.

The Role
Working closely with the Project Manager and Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing all day-to-day project planning activities
- Developing, maintaining and updating detailed project schedules
- Producing and managing 3-week lookahead programs
- Progress tracking, reporting and critical path analysis
- Coordinating with engineering and delivery teams to ensure program alignment
- Identifying risks and opportunities within the schedule
To be considered, you will have:
- Minimum 5+ years' experience working with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractor
- Strong expertise in Primavera P6
- Proven experience delivering complex infrastructure projects
- Previous water pipeline project experience (highly desirable)
- Ability to work collaboratively with project and engineering leadership
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Above-market day rate
- 5/2 DIDO roster
- On-site accommodation provided
