A permanent opportunity, starting immediately for a small/medium, successful Civil Construction business based in Baulkham hills.
We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant for a long term opportunity. You will be responsible for managing the broader finance team and supporting the Head of Finance in providing meaningful insights and the necessary reporting for the businesses financial projections.

The duties of the role will include but are not limited to:
- Month end ownership
- Cashflow forecasting
- Statutory Accounts & Tax (BAS/FBT)
- Payroll GL transactions
- Prepare monthly financial reporting for management;
- Balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals
- Prepare accurate monthly, weekly and quarterly forecasts
- Financial reporting (operations and project accounting)
- Creation and delivery of management reports
- Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes
- Participate in business improvement and process improvement projects
- Oversee Payroll, Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Previous, proven experience managing a finance team
- 3-4 years experience in a technical accounting role
- Degree qualification in Finance and Accounting CA or CPA qualified
- Previous experience managing Payroll, Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Industry experience will be highly regarded
- Knowledge and experience using MYOB advanced will be preffered and highly regarded
- Ability to influence key stakeholders to deliver commercial outcomes
- Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication, self-management and organisational skills
- Systems experience and ability to manage multiple system and configuration and integration
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy with the ability to deal with the complexity of multiple companies
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional Excel skills
- Budgeting and forecasting experience
- Exceptional knowledge of financial statements
- The ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and work with conflicting time constraints
