CGC are working with a long standing client who are a National specialist subcontractor who have picked up a Drainage package as part of a Major Infrastructure project in Central QLD. 
 
Work is being delivered on a schedule of rates and due to all internal staff being have identified a need for a Leading Hand/Foreman to join the business on a full time basis. As Leading Hand you will run a crew of 20 + personnel and machines and responsibilities will include: 
 
- Attend and participate at morning toolbox meetings
- Pre starts on all plant and machinery prior to the commencement of work
- Risk assessments and hazard identification prior to the commencement of work
- Providing support to the management team in promoting a culture of OH&S
- Develop reviewing of processes and new ideas to reduce risks resulting in overall improved performance
 
The project is being run on  a family friendly 2/1 FIFO roster from Brisbane with travel, accommodation and meals being provided. We are looking to speak to available Leading Hands/Foreman with the following experience. 
 
- 10 Years in Civil Construction 
- Prior experience as a Pipe-layer 
- Prior experience with a drainage or concrete subcontractor 
- Strong leadership skills 
- Capable across word and excel documents
