Job description
My client are currently looking for a Sales Manager/Account Manager with experience across Rail Technology to join their business and add to their growth during this busy time for the infrastructure space.
Sales Manager Responsibilities include;
• Hitting sales targets agreed with the Area Manager, and achieving growth by
successfully managing the business opportunities in Australia
• Supporting the implementation of a strategic sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure strong presence of the Company
• Continuous developing of knowledge of the business climate, applications and
competition for Customers in Australia
• Working with the Area Manager to develop, maintain and execute a Country
plan, including revenue and sales goals over a 1 month, 3 months, 1 year, 3
years period basis.
• Selling to existing and potential Customers as well as providing sales support to distribution partners and add value to the selling process
• Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with
supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors
• Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary. Analysing trends and
results and presenting sales, revenue and realistic forecasts to the Area
Manager
• Working with the Area Manager to devise and implement innovative go-tomarket strategies, identifying emerging needs, while being fully aware of new
products and competition status
• Building and promoting strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them, understanding their needs and how they relate to the Company products
• Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of the Company relationship with them
• Promoting the Company and products
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in technical or business or related field
• Successful previous experience as sales engineer/manager for at least 5 years
• Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies
• Experience in customer relationship management
• Previous sales experience in the rail space is essential
• Committed to continuous training through dedicated session, workshops,
seminars
• Proven ability to drive the sales process from the starting to close
• Strong business sense and industry expertise
