Contract Administrator – Intermediate | Mid-Tier Builder | ASAP Start
Location: South Sydney
Project: New-build Commercial/Residential Development

Are you an experienced Contract Administrator looking for your next contract role with a reputable mid-tier construction company? We’re seeking a motivated intermediate-level CA to join our project team on a significant new-build development. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a collaborative builder on a high-profile project and hit the ground running.
About the Role As the Contract Administrator, you will support the project team through the full project lifecycle, ensuring all contractual and procurement functions are delivered accurately, efficiently and in line with company standards. You will work closely with the Project Manager, Site team and subcontractors to maintain commercial control and drive project success.

About the Role As the Contract Administrator, you will support the project team through the full project lifecycle, ensuring all contractual and procurement functions are delivered accurately, efficiently and in line with company standards. You will work closely with the Project Manager, Site team and subcontractors to maintain commercial control and drive project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, issue and review subcontractor packages, scopes and comparisons
- Manage procurement schedules and subcontractor onboarding
- Administer contracts in line with company procedures and relevant legislation
- Assess and process progress claims, variations and EOTs
- Maintain up-to-date project documentation and cost tracking
- Liaise with subcontractors, consultants and internal stakeholders
- Support the project team with general commercial and administration tasks
- Contribute to positive project outcomes and team culture
- 2–5 years’ experience as a Contract Administrator within commercial or residential construction
- Experience working with a mid-tier builder is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of contract law, procurement and construction processes
- Proficient with construction software (e.g. Procore, Jobpac, Cheops or similar)
- Excellent communication, organisation and negotiation skills
- Ability to work autonomously and hit the ground running
- Available for an immediate or ASAP start
