Contract Interior Designer – Fit Out Projects (ASAP Start)
South Sydney Location | Contract Role | Immediate Start
Are you an experienced Interior Designer with a strong technical background and a passion for documentation? Our client, a growing small-scale builder based in South Sydney, is looking for a skilled Interior Designer on a contract basis to deliver full sets of CDC documentation for commercial and retail fit out projects.
The Role: You’ll be working directly with the builder to run projects from concept through to construction documentation, with a particular focus on delivering full CDC drawing packages. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident managing documentation independently.

✏️ Responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive CDC documentation for fit out projects
- Translate design concepts into detailed construction drawings
- Liaise with clients, certifiers, and subcontractors as required
- Ensure all documentation complies with relevant codes and standards
- Work efficiently to meet tight project deadlines
- Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- Proven experience in delivering full CDC documentation sets
- Proficient in AutoCAD (or relevant drafting software)
- Strong knowledge of BCA, Australian Standards, and NCC
- Highly organised and capable of working autonomously
- Immediate availability
