Industrial Electrician (Field Service)– Perth, WA

This is an opportunity to join a leading cranes manufacturing business in Perth, where you’ll play a key role in ensuring all machinery remains safe, compliant, and operational.


You’ll be working across a range of lifting systems, from mobile cranes to hoists and winches - providing both scheduled maintenance and rapid response when breakdowns occur.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out scheduled and reactive electrical maintenance on lifting equipment, including cranes, hoists, and winches
  • Diagnose electrical faults using test equipment, schematics, and control system software
  • Perform wiring repairs, component replacements, and control system upgrades
  • Work closely with mechanical teams to coordinate servicing, inspections, and equipment rebuilds
  • Maintain accurate service reports, test results, and compliance documentation
  • Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with WHS and environmental standards
About You
  • A‑Class WA Licensed Electrician
  • Experience in electrical maintenance or fault‑finding on heavy machinery, lifting equipment, or industrial plant
  • Strong diagnostic ability with confidence reading wiring diagrams, PLC logic, and control systems
  • Comfortable working at heights and able to hold or obtain relevant safety tickets (e.g., EWP, Working at Heights)
  • Clear communicator who can work independently and collaborate effectively with mechanical and operations teams
  • Proactive, safety‑focused, and committed to continuous improvement
