Key Responsibilities:
Design and Documentation:

• Develop detailed hydraulic systems designs including water supply, drainage, stormwater, and fire services.
• Prepare technical specifications, reports, and documentation for various project stages.
• Utilize industry-standard software for hydraulic modelling and design.

Project Management:

• Coordinate with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure cohesive and comprehensive project delivery.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications and standards.

Compliance and Standards:

• Ensure all hydraulic designs comply with relevant Australian Standards, codes, and regulations.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Client Liaison:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing technical advice and support as needed.
• Attend client meetings, presentations, and provide updates on project progress.

Quality Assurance:

• Perform quality checks and reviews of hydraulic designs and documentation.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all project deliverables.

  
Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Hydraulic Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in hydraulic engineering within the building services industry.
• Proficiency in hydraulic design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and relevant modeling tools.
• Strong understanding of Australian Standards, NCC, and local council requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
