Transport Coordinator
Location: South Australia
Salary: $100,000 + super
Are you an organised, proactive and solutions-driven transport professional looking to take the next step in your logistics career? We’re seeking a Transport Coordinator to join a well-established South Australian business and play a key role in ensuring the smooth, safe and efficient movement of our fleet and customer deliveries.
In this position, you’ll combine the core responsibilities of a Fleet Controller, Scheduler and Allocator, taking ownership of daily transport planning, driver coordination and delivery performance across a busy operation.

In this position, you’ll combine the core responsibilities of a Fleet Controller, Scheduler and Allocator, taking ownership of daily transport planning, driver coordination and delivery performance across a busy operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule and allocate daily runs to maximise fleet utilisation and meet customer delivery expectations
- Act as the main point of contact for drivers, providing clear instructions, route guidance and ongoing support
- Monitor vehicle movements, proactively resolving delays, issues or last-minute changes
- Maintain accurate load sheets, delivery schedules and compliance records
- Ensure all fleet activities meet fatigue management, safety and chain-of-responsibility requirements
- Work closely with internal teams, customers and stakeholders to deliver service excellence
- Assist with fleet administration including maintenance bookings, defect reporting and vehicle availability
- Experience in fleet control, transport scheduling or driver allocation (any industry considered)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate multiple moving parts
- Confident decision-maker who stays calm under pressure
- Good understanding of transport regulations, safety standards and CoR
- Tech-savvy with experience using TMS, GPS or dispatch systems
- Stable, respected South Australian business
