Forklift Operator / Labourer

Mon-Fri (6:15am - 3:30pm) / Around 44hr per week
 
A busy industrial workshop in Perth is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator / Labourer to join their team on an ongoing contract basis. This role suits someone who is confident on the forklift, comfortable with hands‑on labouring tasks, and able to work safely in a fast‑paced environment.
 
This is a well‑established structural steel fabrication business, specialising in cutting, processing and assembling steel components for commercial and industrial projects. The workshop operates a busy yard and production floor, handling steel materials, running forklifts and overhead cranes, and supporting day‑to‑day fabrication activities.
 
About the Role
 
You will be supporting day‑to‑day workshop and yard operations, combining forklift duties with general labouring and materials handling. Consistent hours and long‑term work are available for the right person.
Duties

• Operating forklifts for loading, unloading and moving steel materials
• Assisting trades and workshop personnel as required
• General labouring, housekeeping and yard work
• Manual handling and basic workshop support tasks
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

What We're Looking For

• Current LF forklift licence (essential)
• Previous experience in a workshop, yard or industrial environment
• Ability to perform manual handling and repetitive tasks
• Strong reliability, punctuality and safety focus
• Willingness to assist with general labouring when not on the forklift
• Ability to work ongoing, full‑time hours
