Our client is a design-driven boutique construction firm with offices in Sydney and Brisbane who pride themselves on working a little differently to their peers by investing time in the front end of the projects to achieve better efficiencies for clients.
  
They have built a solid reputation working with clients on a range of building works including new builds, refurbishments and fitouts of retail, hospitality, commercial and lux residential projects

The Opportunity

Working with senior management and your project team you will be responsible for site coordination, SWMS, programming and ITPs. On larger projects you will work under a Site Manager however on this occasion will be given the opportunity to run your own project, receiving mentoring and training directly from management if needed.

The scope of this project will be to upgrade a 10 unit apartment block in Sydney’s East that includes 2 retail units below. We are looking for either a Site Manager or Foreman that is looking to step up.

Salary is broad depending on if you are a Foreman or Site Manager $140K - $180K 

Ideal Background

• Carpentry Trade, and 4 year completed apprenticeship  - would be advantageous to have exp high end finishes
• Ability to schedule and coordinate day to day activities on site
• Conversant with trades and services associated within head contract building
• A good understanding of BCA requirements.
• High attention to detail.
• Valid driving license
