The Company
  • You will be joining a medium size construction firm that has been operating in the Australian market for over 60 years.
  • They take pride in the work they deliver, consistently live by their company values, and strive to support local business to strengthen economic growth in  both the cities they operate in and regional areas.
  • Sectors covered include Aged Care, Government and general commercial valued to 40M
  • The senior leadership team have been with the company many years and provide a solid foundation for employee career development and progression.
  • Reporting into a Site Manager you will help oversee the completion of a package of works worth $14M at an industrial site in Moorebank
  • The scope will include re roofing, re cladding and a complete fire update to 6 industrial units
  • The units will be operational throughout the upgrade so the successful candidate will understand how to operate in a live environment and be good at managing safety.
  • You will share the workload with the Site Manager by geographical area so will have autonomy over your respective area
Salary will be in line with experience however figures of 140K - 160K can be expected

  • You will benefit from working across complex/interesting refurbs and taking on $5m - $20M construction projects
Background / Experience
  • Trade with additional tertiary building qualification advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to have independently delivered projects in excess of $10M
  • Ideally have experience working on re-cladding projects or solid refurbishment experience
  • Ability to build  relationships and manage personnel and operate cohesively in a team environment
  • Strong technical, planning & programming skills
  • Extensive knowledge around logistical planning for CBD projects
  • Good safety & company system management skills
