My client is an internationally recognised team of high-end residential and hospitality designers currently seeking a talented designer to join their Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment team.
Housed in a sun-filled open-plan office in the Eastern Suburbs, the team head count sits between 20-25 people. The culture of the office is very supportive in nature, each individual has input into how things are run. With a "work hard, play hard" mentality, the office is always busy with work and social events.
Working in the FF&E team for my client, you will ideally be involved with running the FF&E components on a variety of hospitality and residential projects.
Your focus will be mostly on producing, sourcing, and documenting interior finishes and furnishings. Producing presentation materials and documentation including furnishing drawings, material specifications, furniture plans, joinery details etc.
You will need to be confident in your client facing skills as you'll often be required to liaise not only with clients but also suppliers and other design professionals.
- A minimum of 3 years in a similar position
- Ideally prior experience with FF&E workflow
- Experience working within the high-end residential and hospitality sectors
- Client interfacing skills
- A tertiary qualification in Interior Design or equivalent discipline
- Full Australian Working Rights
