Estimator – Fit Out
 
The Company
 

• You’ll be working for a reputable mid tier fit out contractor
• Commercial D&C contractor, you must have D&C experience to apply for this role
• Impressive portfolio of clients including Uber, Miele, Bet 365
• Commercial fit out projects up to $15m

 
Duties
 

• Calculating how much a proposed project will cost
• Researching prices and collecting quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
• Monitoring inflation and exchange rates
• Checking the client’s requirements
• Drawing up bids for work
• Keeping an eye on projects to make sure costs stay in line with forecasts
• Drawing up detailed and accurate price lists for everything needed on a construction project
• Considering risk assessments and health and safety requirements   

Skills and Experience
 

• 2 years + as an Estimator
• Local experience with a fit out contractor
• Must have D&C experience
• Experience with similar size projects
• Confident to manage multiple tenders at one time
• Stability with previous employers
• A positive attitude
