Our client is one of Sydney’s leading medium sized fitout/refurb builders working in the commercial, private educational and medical sector delivering design and construct projects valued to $20M. They have a supportive and robust senior management team and 4 project teams with capacity to deliver up to 10 projects concurrently.

The Opportunity

• This is a new opportunity for an experienced estimator to join a thriving business that is delivering projects to $20M
• The position will report into senior management work alongside an existing estimator
• With the training and mentoring provided from leadership team you will be given the tools and opportunity to progress through the company, potentially into a management role.
• All estimates are done using Buildsoft so knowledge using this programme is imperative
• You will receive support and guidance from senior leadership on larger and more complex submissions
• Tenders include state of the art corporate fitouts , medical practices and educational facilities.
• You will not only tender fitouts, we are looking for someone with construction experience to help on the large refurbishment projects  

Salary will depend on experience and how self sufficient you are however offers above 100K and up to 130K are achievable. 

We are also interested to chat with Jr Estimators that are looking to progress their careers
 
Ideal background

• Quantity Surveying or Construction Estimating background with related degree
• Willingness and desire to forge a career within the estimating profession
• Experience working on fitout / refurb tenders
• Ideally have knowledge of structural trades and have worked on heavy refurb tenders
• Have a natural analytical ability and high attention to detail
• Highly developed IT skills
