Job description
New opportunity for an ambitious Estimator, to work with a growing and very well established Civil Contractor in Brisbane - you will be working varied projects from small to large scale $multi million jobs.
The role:
- position Reporting to the Estimating Manager
- Present new and follow up on existing tenders / proposals
- Develop and grow networks and relationships with other clients / contractors
- Provide accurate and efficient breakdowns on cost and transparent itemisation on materials, plant, labour and project schedule
- On site meetings / accurate measurements
Ideal candidate:
- A bachelor degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering
- Estimating experience within Civil Engineering / Demolition / Bulk Excavation work
- Ideally experienced working within the Queensland market
- Ideally experienced working within the Queensland market
- Good knowledge with construction materials (particularly types of concrete), working drawings / design plans
- Site experience to perform accurate measurements, and understanding of the project cycle
