Job description

New opportunity for a capable Estimator, to work with a growing but established Civil Contractor in Brisbane

The business are going through a very busy period and need extra assistance on civil & infrastructure projects - valued to $10m predominantly across SE QLD but may include some work interstate.

The role:

- You will work as part of a team, assisting the Project Manager, Contract Administrator and construction Manager day to day

- Present new and follow up on existing tenders / proposals

- Develop and grow networks and relationships with other clients / contractors

- Provide accurate and efficient breakdowns on cost and transparent itemisation on materials, plant, labour and project schedule

- On site meetings / accurate measurements

Ideal candidate:

- A bachelor degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering

- Strong Background in estimating within Civil Engineering / Building / Construction
- Previous experience and background with a Construction / Civil Contractor
- Ideally experienced working within the Queensland market

- Good knowledge of materials, working drawings / design plans

- Site experience is advantageous
