A well established and respected builder is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intermediate Estimator to join our growing Brisbane team.

In this role, you will play a key role in the pre-construction phase of projects, working alongside experienced estimators and project managers. You will gain valuable exposure to a diverse range of government-funded projects across the education, health, commercial, and defence sectors. Project values will range from $1 million to $20 million, providing an exceptional opportunity to build your skills across various project types.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of cost estimates and tenders for government projects.
• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and schedules to identify and quantify project requirements.
• Obtain and evaluate subcontractor quotes.
• Prepare risk assessments and cost mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to the development of project programs and timelines.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project estimates.

Skills and experience:

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a construction estimating role.
• Worked for a recognised builder in the Tier 3/Tier 2 space
• Proven ability to prepare cost estimates and tenders.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and materials.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience using Cost x
