They are known as a traditional Tier 2 builder who delivers projects from $2M to $70M.
  
The role (Estimator)
We are looking for an Estimator with 4 to 5 years plus experience to join a team of 3, reporting to your Estimating Manager.

Main responsibilities might include:
  • Reviewing project plans and specifications
  • Conducting site visits to gather information on project requirements
  • Conducting research on construction materials, equipment and labour costs
  • Preparing detailed cost estimates based on project plans, specifications and cost information
  • Presenting cost estimates to clients and project managers
  • Collaborating with project teams to ensure estimates align with project goals
  • Monitoring project costs and making adjustments as necessary to ensure estimates remain accurate.
  
What we are looking for
To be an effective estimator, one should have a solid understanding of construction methods and materials, as well as experience in cost estimating and project management. A bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field is often preferred, along with experience in the construction industry. Additionally, proficiency in cost estimating software and strong communication skills are also important for this role.

Experience in tendering projects from a value of $5M to $20m plus is a key requirement for this role.
