About the Company:

With a strong pipeline of work in regional NSW and a collaborative culture focused on quality and innovation, we are helping our client to require an experienced Estimating Manager
  
The Role:
As Estimating Manager, you’ll oversee the complete tendering, cost planning, and estimating process for regional projects. Your role will be pivotal in securing future work, driving profitability, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of submissions.
  
You’ll work closely with the Regional General Manager and Business Development Manager to build winning strategies, manage client relationships, and lead a small team of estimators and bid coordinators.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead tender submissions from initial client brief to final lodgement.
  • Oversee cost planning, budgeting, and estimate preparation using real market data.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Drive value engineering initiatives and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Manage and mentor a team including cadet estimators and bid coordinators.
  • Contribute to strategic bid planning and presentation in line with brand standards.
  • Support post-submission activities, including interviews and delivery handovers.
What You’ll Bring:
  • Proven experience in an senior estimator or leadership role within commercial construction ($1M - $30M)
  • Strong technical skills across estimating, bid strategy, and subcontractor engagement.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship management abilities.
  • A collaborative, hands-on approach to leadership and mentoring.
  • Ability to work autonomously and drive results in a regional environment.
