Role Overview:
As an ESD Engineer, you will be responsible for providing specialist advice on environmental sustainability and energy efficiency in building design and construction. Working closely with the design team, you will help integrate sustainable design principles into projects from concept to completion. Your role will involve conducting energy assessments, developing sustainability strategies, and liaising with clients and stakeholders to ensure projects meet environmental standards and requirements.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct energy assessments and sustainability audits for new and existing buildings
• Develop and implement sustainable design strategies for building projects
• Provide technical expertise on environmental sustainability, including green building certifications (e.g., Green Star, NABERS)
• Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure sustainability goals are met
• Prepare reports and documentation to support sustainable design initiatives
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in environmental sustainability

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Sustainable Engineering or related field
• 4+ years of experience in environmental sustainability or ESD engineering
• Strong knowledge of sustainable building design principles and green building certifications
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Proficiency in sustainability assessment tools and software
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Green Star Accredited Professional) are desirable
