The Company and Project

This leading established global Tier 1 infrastructure company have a goal to be "the best people to work with". With this in mind they have developed partnerships with a number of major clients and engineering consultancy firms. Within the civil space they specialize in delivering large and major civil projects such as renewables, road & rail, and utility projects that range from $500M to $5B.

Purely due to projects being won they are looking to grow their team and are in need of multiple Environmental Coordinators to join what is an already established team. The project will be based in Sydney metro and will be working on a $2b renewable project.

Key Skills:

Relevant tertiary qualifications
Experience in environmental planning and construction environment management in Australia
Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards related to construction projects.
Experience in conducting environmental impact assessments and implementing mitigation measures.
Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting environmental data and conducting risk assessments.
Experience in developing environmental performance measure

Duties include:

Assist Project Management teams
Manager and deliver environmental assessment projects such as EIAs
Provide technical and planning knowledge to staff and clients
Working with Environmental Manager
Prepare environment assessment reports and EMPs
Conduct audits and site checks
Have the capacity to organise information in a logical sequence for the purpose of presentation.
Training and the preparation of policy & procedure is a necessity as is the capacity to identify and manage priorities.
Ability to write and review environmental reports.
Provide correct environmental advice and guidance to assist the team.
Liaise with authorities, client representatives, consultants,
Provide environmental assistance, direction and support, including pre-contracts, project delivery and project closeout
