CGC Recruitment are established experts in providing short term construction and engineering resources to main tier and mid-tier contractors and have again been approached by one of our clients to source a Site based Electrical to work on a 3 month contract basis as part of a major water infrastructure project. 

The Project Team is well established and this will role will report into the Project Engineer on site and responsibilities will include; Procurement of equipment, material & subcontracts, day to day tracking of cost vs productivity for self-performed works, developing method statements and risk assessments, Quality assurance: development of lot structure, ITP’s and compilation at completion.

The role will be joining the project as it heads into a critical stage of construction so expected contract length will be 3-4 months and we are looking to speak with driven young site engineers who have the following experience: 

- Electrical Engineering Degree

- 2-3 years site base experience 

- Prior experience with a Main Tier Contractor 

- Prior experience managing subcontractors 

- Driven and able to work independently
