Job Title: Electrical Engineer with CAD Design Experience
Location: North Sydney
Contract Type: Temporary, 3-6 months
Start Date: ASAP

Job Overview: Our client, a tier 1 delivery contractor, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with CAD Design experience to join their team. The successful candidate will work on ITS, TCS and smart motorway projects and be responsible for designing electrical cabinets and other related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical cabinets for ITS, TCS, and smart motorway projects
• Create CAD drawings and schematics using AutoCAD or other relevant software
• Conduct electrical design reviews and provide recommendations
• Ensure that all designs are compliant with relevant standards and regulations
• Liaise with other members of the project team to ensure the successful delivery of projects
• Provide technical support and advice to other members of the team as required
• Assist with the preparation of project documentation and reports

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of ITS, TCS and smart motorway projects
• Experience with designing electrical cabinets
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or other relevant CAD software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations
