The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Drainage Engineer to join a well-respected, top tier consultancy in Brisbane.

The infrastructure division have a huge order book of rail, water, bridge and highways projects. If successful, you will begin work on variety of exciting urban and rural highways projects across Queensland.
 
The successful candidate will form a key part of the infrastructure team and will be responsible for undertaking design and consulting services for various major road and infrastructure projects.
 
Areas of Focus Include:

• Provide design and technical consultation in technical drainage areas such as, road drainage design, culvert design, flood management and water sensitive urban design.

 
Experience & Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, with around 3-5+ years' post graduate experience
• Working towards chartered membership, RPEQ beneficial
• Track record in highways design and up to date experience of highways projects and procedures
• Solid knowledge of TMR
• Proficient skills in drainage design software
• Able to demonstrate strong design ability and engineering skills and knowledge
• Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal)
• Understanding of the need to consider occupational Health and Safety in all activities, including Safety in Design
