Job Overview:
As a Draftsman you will play a crucial role in the design and development of our aluminium products. You will work closely with our engineering and production teams to create detailed drawings and plans for fabrication and installation. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in drafting, be proficient in CAD software, and possess a keen eye for detail.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting and Design: Create detailed drawings, plans, and blueprints for aluminium fencing, balustrades, screens, shutters, and gates.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure accurate and precise drawings that meet project specifications and quality standards.
• Material Selection: Assist in selecting appropriate materials and components for each project, considering factors such as durability, cost-effectiveness, and design aesthetics.
• Quality Assurance: Review and analyze drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Documentation: Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and project-related documents, ensuring accessibility to relevant team members.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, software advancements, and best practices to enhance drafting efficiency and product quality.
• Communication: Effectively communicate design concepts and changes to cross-functional teams and clients, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.

Qualifications:

• Qualifications in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field advantageous.
• Proven experience as a Draftsman, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in drafting software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Time management skills to meet project deadlines.
