About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to join a Tier 1 Contractor delivering a major renewable energy project in North Queensland. This is a 4-month contract opportunity suited to a proactive professional who thrives in fast-paced project environments and can manage documentation with accuracy and efficiency from day one.
This is a FIFO role on a 2/1 roster, with all flights, accommodation and meals provided. You'll be based on-site in a remote camp-style environment, supporting a multidisciplinary project team in delivering one of the region's flagship renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage, track, and distribute project documentation in accordance with company and client requirements.
- Maintain accurate document registers and ensure controlled access to project documents.
- Upload, review, and monitor documentation through Aconex and SharePoint (preferred).
- Support project teams with document formatting, version control, and filing protocols.
- Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure timely document flow and compliance with project standards.
- Proven experience as a Document Controller within the construction or engineering industry (Tier 1 or major project experience highly regarded).
- Strong working knowledge of Aconex; familiarity with SharePoint is an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and adapt quickly to new systems and project requirements.
- Comfortable working in a remote, FIFO camp environment on a 2/1 roster.
