Contract Administrator (Fit-Out) Site-Based Role | Contract Position | Immediate Start Available
We are a well-established commercial builder specialising in high-quality fit-out and refurbishment projects across retail, hospitality, workplace, and commercial sectors. Due to continued project wins, we are seeking a motivated Contract Administrator to join our team on a contract basis.
This is a site-based role, working closely with the Project Manager and site team to ensure the smooth financial and contractual management of projects.
About the Role As Contract Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting project delivery from procurement through to final account. This position suits someone with 1–3 years’ experience in the fit-out sector who is confident working in a fast-paced site environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Letting and administration of subcontract packages
- Procurement of trades and suppliers
- Preparation and assessment of progress claims
- Variations management (upstream and downstream)
- Cost tracking and budget management
- Preparation of financial reports
- Assisting with head contract administration
- Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations
- Liaising with subcontractors, consultants, and the site team
- 1–3 years’ experience as a Contract Administrator within the fit-out sector (essential)
- Proven experience working on commercial fit-out projects
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Job Pac systems (essential)
- Understanding of construction contracts and subcontract administration
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a site-based team environment
