The Company

Established for over 50 years our client is a leading and highly reputable architectural interior metalwork design and construct contractor who deliver high quality projects with leading Tier 1 and Mid-Tier Building Contractors. Based both on site and in their offices in the Sydney CBD Area.  

The Position 

• Drive the design process from inception to completion.
• Taking initial concept through to complete design package
• Provide shop drawings & technical drawings for various projects and provide technical support
• Produce manufacturing drawings and schedules 
• Management of internal and external stakeholders involved during the project process including M&E consultants
• Assist with and clarification of quotations 
• Attend design & site meetings with the sales & operations team 
• Liaise with local and overseas factories and suppliers

About you:

• 3 + years with design experience within the building industry. 
• Must be proficient in AutoCAD
• High attention to detail
• High understanding of design standards & compliance documentation 
• Excellent communication skills written and verbal
• Knowledge and understanding of BIM is beneficial 
• Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering or related  
• Must be able to work autonomously and in a team
