We are looking for an experienced Debt Recovery Officer to join our client, a NSW State government agency, on a contractual basis.

• 6 month contract opportunity
• 38 Hour working week
• Hourly Rate $35 per hour + super
• Offices are based in Parramatta and WFH - hybrid role

Responsibilities:

• Identify the range of products and services offered to customers
• Understand and explain your role, your manager’s role and their manager’s role
• connecting with customers, active listening and agreeing on payment solutions
• Effectively capture information, interpret customer needs and offer solutions and/or information
• Build positive relationships with customers ensuring a quality experience
• Explore all options to resolve contact
• Ensure tone, manner and language used in conversations with customers, peers and Managers are respectful and model signature behaviors
• Suggest new and innovative customer solutions
• Treat Customers in a courteous and respectful manner and give them your highest priority

Essentials:

• Previous experience in Debt Recovery
• Compassionate, empathetic and an understanding nature
• Intermediate computer skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work within a team and adapt quickly to a changing environment
• Understand the importance of managing confidential and sensitive information
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to multi task and prioritise
• Must be open to obtaining police check 
• MUST BE DOUBLE VACCINATED
