Our client is a well-respected privately owned tier two builder who is turning over more than $600M and currently employs over 300 full time staff nationally. They operate across most commercial sectors and hold pre-qualifications for federal and state government projects valued up to $100M.
Their QLD operation has been operating for over 12 years and they have an excellent name across the Queensland building market. In QLD they are known for delivering projects in the education, health and retail and industrial sectors from a value of $5M to $40M. Their Brisbane office operate with around 70 staff.
The role – Contracts Administrator/Junior PM
The QLD operation is divided into 3 divisions, with one being a small works division that focuses on services upgrades/cladding upgrades in the government sector i.e., Health and education. The division is a highly profitable arm of the business and has been operating for over 6 years.
We are looking for a CA who has around 4 or 5 years plus experience who is close to being ready to move into a PM role. Their projects are usually valued from $500k to $5M.
Employees move around through the business into the 3 divisions, so further down the track you will have the option to move onto their larger construction projects if you wish.
What we are looking for:
- At least 4 or 5 years experience as a Contract Administrator
- Experience with projects from $500k to $10M is preferred
- Must have worked for a known Tier 2 or Tier 3 builder
- A completed construction qualification
- Previous experience with Jobpac or Cheops would be advantageous
- Able to multi task as you may be looking after more than one project at a time
